A Parent's Role | Part One

Why we value having kids in worship

In our liturgy each week, the story of the Gospel is told and retold. Even if our children don’t fully comprehend how each part of our worship service tells a different part of the story, they’re being trained to know that story, nonetheless, because this story is relevant for all it’s hearers–big or small.

As Christian parents, we help ingrain this story into our children when we sit and stand with them each and every Sunday in worship. This story, told through the worship of God, is the highest priority of our parenting, and a high commitment to raising children who worship God is a commitment to establishing faith foundations that will stand the test of time.
